1. You’ll train one-on-one with people who’ve done the job Ricky and Dalbir aren’t classroom instructors. They’re working heavy vehicle professionals, and they take students personally — small group and one-on-one, not thirty people to a trainer.
2. You’ll master every gearbox, not just the easy one Automatic, synchromesh single clutch, and the 18-speed Road Ranger double clutch. You train and get assessed on the gearbox you’ll actually be driving, right across MR, HR, HC and MC. If an employer asks whether you can handle a Road Ranger, you want the honest answer to be yes.
3. Training that fits around your shifts We run Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Saturday sessions exist for a reason — most of our students are already driving, and nobody should have to give up work to upgrade a licence.
4. Compliance knowledge employers actually ask about Load restraint techniques. Chain of Responsibility. Pre-operational vehicle checks. Fatigue risk management — identifying the risks, working inside a fatigue management system, and keeping accurate work diaries under Heavy Vehicle National Law. These are the things that protect you, your employer, and everyone else on the road.
5. Theory online, practical on site Work through the theory at your own pace, then come to our Waterford West facility in Logan for the practical — purpose-built for vehicle manoeuvring and coupling.
6. Direct routes into work Linehaul. Local pickup and delivery. Tipper operations. And with an MC licence, the door opens further again into concrete agitation and heavy construction logistics — both sectors that keep the country running.
